a glimpse of sunshine
a warm smile
long johns and a cozy toque
good music
a piece of chocolate
crunchy carrots
a hug
a kind word
a big enough bathtub
a cardboard box
Each day has so many reasons to give thanks.
*As a quick after note, I've just discovered that boxes are great places for afternoon snack! Each with a bowl in his or her respective box, the spills are all contained, no one is falling off a chair or stealing snacks from someone else. I can even close the box up if they're eating rudely! Maybe we'll nix the idea of picking up a used table for the dining room and just keep cardboard boxes for the kids in the kitchen while S and I eat alone at the other table. This could solve a lot of our dinner time dilemmas!

O and I had fun looking at the pictures - O wants to say hi to his cousins. You're right - so much to be thankful for. It's good to be reminded of that. Hmmm - I might have to save some moving boxes for eating crates too, lol! Your new place looks really nice!
Wow - there's now a 'reply' option on blogger? Fun. Maybe we can do a video chat with O some time, though our kids have been extremely silly lately when we've engaged people on Skype - a tad embarrassing although O may not notice or mind. The house is great - I can't believe how big it is for us - such a gift. Still needs some organizing and fixing up here and there, but all very nice and useable space while we settle in. Give our love to O. Hope your house-hunting is going well and that you have empty boxes to play with soon, too!
We love boxes too! We got a big one this week and James and Ben have been having a great time, despite a little fighting over the box (there's only room for one inside).
