Our neighbours and friends had a fun Monster-themed party for their son to celebrate him being 4 1/2. In the busyness of moving last summer, they'd not been able to have a party then. This very cold Saturday event made me rather thankful that was the case. Living in an old church still awaiting renovations, its the perfect venue for a large group. The kids essentially have an upstairs gym, the basement is an open living space where mess is still allowed. Was a good time, so here are some photos from the day, just because . . .
Here are the kids being read a bedtime story by Omi & Opa over Skype - a fun treat for everyone, I'd say. :)
Not so fun, we all had colds - ear infections - toward the end of February and into March. Iz's cute face captures how crummy that feels. Must take the good with the bad (and give thanks that we had our best winter yet in terms of colds since having "the babies." Maybe we're starting to build up some resistance at last?).
