I just have to say that my girls, at times, delight me by what they'll eat. In a specialty store a few weeks ago, A stopped dead in her tracks in front of a display and started pleading, "Mom, could I please have a treat?" I was surprised to see that she was asking for a pack of seaweed. How could I say no?! Since it was a bit on the pricey-side, packaged as a snack item, I opted for a plain pack of Nori seaweed on my last shopping trip. And so their first love - tomatoes (which both of them will eat like an apple) - seems to have a new rival. Well, first food love if there wasn't a world of sugary treats out there . . .
She was wearing the right shirt for the moment. And how could I not love a kid who wakes up and says, "Seaweed?"

Cute, cute, cute! I found a pack of seaweed when I was unpacking some kitchen stuff yesterday and ate a couple sheets. Yummy!
Really?! :) I think I have Ai's tastebuds - a sheet of Nori just doesn't appeal, though I love it as sushi.
