Today happened to be one where I took quite a few photos.   So I'll let them do most of the talking  . . .

S was leading a Partnership Circle this evening where about 150 people from different churches gathered together with some Indigenous people for dinner, music and to hear two guest speakers.  He's still there, but I left early to put the kids to bed.  It was hosted at Thunderbirdhouse, a really beautiful building in the heart of Winnipeg.  There are many homeless folks around North Main Street, so it made for an interesting hour outside as we waited for the program to begin at 6:00 (we'd had to come early with S).  A thing that I love about the kids is that they're not afraid to engage people who grown-ups might find to be 'different,' nor are they aware that they're in an area considered not particularly safe.  They had a great time running, climbing and greeting passers-by.

Did you notice the almost green grass?  We didn't experience the projected high of 22C, but its been a great week of watching the snow rapidly melt.  It's so good to see the earth again!

Our failed attempts at a family shot - had to snip A out of the last one as it was uncharacteristically not so good :).  They were far too overtired and silly by this point!  But it was nice to be out and take part in one of S's events.
